19 Pilate then took Jesus and [a](A)flogged Him. 2 (B)And when the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a purple [b]robe on Him; 3 and they were coming to Him and saying, “(C)Hail, King of the Jews!” and were (D)giving Him slaps in the face.
